Awesome place. The atmosphere is great. They do speak English, however the menu is in Japanese. Highly recommend the kakigori here.

Myself and my friends shared a dried fruit shaved ice and some coffee's. Was so light and refreshing. Absolutely would have again. Above all the owners service was outstanding, so friendly and happy to have a yarn. We even got to have a go at the Ice machine definitely a fun experience Would definitely come again.

If there was a 6 for service I would provide it. Having just arrived in town, and waiting for our AirBnb check in there was no better place to go! Felt immediately welcomed with the owner greeting us in English, and showing us to a seat and explaining the menu. After we'd ordered our hot chocolates and orange shaved ice (both of which were incredible also). We were then welcomed to the town, with maps, recommendations (to suit our tastes) and tips on where to visit. Thank you so much, we were so lucky for this to be our first stop!

Absolutely the best shaved ice in all of Japan. The ice is so soft and fluffy that nearly anyone can finish an entire giant bowl on their own, and it'll rarely give you a brain freeze. The toppings are made every morning from fresh fruit, and they're to die for. They never skimp on the toppings and layer them in the shaved ice so you get full flavor all the way to the bottom. We had the strawberry compote and the local specialty flavors, and they were amazing. The strawberry was a delicious classic that reminded me of strawberry preserves made on the farm in the US, and the local specialty was a great combination of the flavors from Japanese sweets. I also had the cheesecake, which was the heaviest and richest I've had in Japan. Its flavor was right in between an American cheesecake and a Japanese cheesecake. I'd definitely recommend going out of your way to visit this store. The other stores on this street are cool, too, so make a vacation of it!

Hands down my favorite Shave Ice " Kakigori " The shave ice here is an art form. The berries are always perfect. The atmosphere is super chill and nostalgic and the people are badass humans. You really can't go wrong. Beat the humid summer the proper way.
